Parker Dean is a poet and writer based in Seattle, WA. He holds a B.A. in Creative Writing and English Literature from the University of Redlands and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing and Poetics from the University of Washington - Bothell. When not writing, he can be found scouring the Washington wilderness for birds of all kinds (his favorite is the Great Tailed Grackle).

He is the Managing Editor for Silly Goose Press, an online literary magazine obsessed with craft-forward whimsy. He is also a journalist/creative for the Evergreen Echo, a Puget Sound based news organization and non-profit.
